Series: Theatermaker

One theater, four divisions, more than 50 professions and each production a synthesis of the arts, a synthesis of the arts of many participants.
They all help to ensure that the 150 publicly funded theaters alone produce around 5,800 productions for 35 million spectators every season: Creatives, craftsmen, technicians and administrative staff turn the theater into the stage that means the world.
Every production is an ensemble effort in which everyone at the theater works together towards a common goal, feels stage fright and premiere tension, shares a passion for the profession and struggles with personal conflicts and content-related controversies.
But there is also the normal working day and the routine: like everywhere else and yet completely different.
