The Westfalenhalle

For many decades, it was the largest event hall in Germany and the XXL living room of North Rhine-Westphalia: the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund. Opened in 1952, long before the multi-purpose hall boom of the 90s and noughties, the Westfalenhalle is still number 3 in Germany in terms of spectators. A listed building of the century that has become deeply engraved in the history of North Rhine-Westphalia - and a show business legend in the middle of the Pott.
