BLOODOMICS

The search for the heart attack gene

BLOODOMICS - one of the largest European projects on heart attack research - employs over 180 researchers from seven different European countries.
Commissioned by the EU Commission, this project started in 2004 with a budget of 9 million euros.

BROADVIEW TV accompanied the BLOODOMICS research team and set itself the task of communicating the abstract research content to the European public.
By producing a high-quality image film, BROADVIEW TV succeeded in visualizing the state of research into the most common cause of death in Europe and providing a moving insight into the life and fate of one of those affected.

Thanks to the proven cooperation with professional distribution partner German United Distribution, the BLOODOMICS film was able to reach an audience of millions across Europe and raise awareness of the explosive nature of the research topic among the general public.
