Lisa Lucassen is part of the performance collective She She Pop.
The seven members work as equals not only artistically but also organizationally, albeit under rather precarious social conditions.
In contrast to other theater professions, the performer is a mixture of player, universal genius and cleaner at the same time; here there are no additional lighting technicians, stage managers or make-up artists, the performer does everything and everything herself.
Equal, non-hierarchical, democratic.
In contrast to acting in municipal or state theaters, performance is a completely different way of making theater.
Plays are devised by the performers themselves and staged alone or in a group.
Although the performer is also on stage, she has written her own text.
She does not play a role, does not impersonate, but is herself.
Being a performer means bringing art and life together.
And sometimes it's a bit like rummaging through a flea market: looking for original, worn, used things and telling a story with them.
